I really enjoyed all of the places we visited on our tour. Malik, our guide was very knowledgeable and told us things about Nankana Sahib that my family did not know. It was a trip of a lifetime for my father. He was able to fulfill his dream of seeing the places his father used to talk about and had to leave behind after 1947.

During our trip to Pakistan, our family had a great time. We got to see the religious and historical sites. The hotels were excellent, the buses were clean and we were able to complete our trip in comfort. Two of the major highlights of the tour was the shopping and food. There was so much variety and we never ran out of things to do and eat.

We had seen the gurdwaras in photos and books but to see them in person was an experience like no other. The Nanka Sahib complex was so beautiful and well maintained. At Kartarpur, the white marble gleamed from far away as we approached. While traveling in Lahore, I could appreciate the old world style of Dera Sahib and Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s Madhi. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Sikh museum in the Lahore Fort, it’s worth the trip.

Overall, our tour was very successful and we had a great time. It was well organized and they made sure we had plenty of time to explore the gurdwaras and the areas we visited. We also had time to go shopping in Lahore and bring things back for our family and friends, which made it even more special. I am considering repeating the tour in the near future to bring family members along.

For my husband and I, this was our first trip to Pakistan and South Asia for that matter. We had seen the streets of Lahore and the Gurdwaras of Pakistan on youtube, but it was quite different seeing it all in person. I expected the worst on my arrival to Pakistan but was pleasantly surprised at how easygoing everything was. The tour went without issue and the people were so kind and welcoming. The food was good and atmosphere was lively. I am happy to have been able to fulfill the wishes of my grandmother who spoke about her childhood in Lahore before the partition. Though she could not make the journey with me I feel even closer to her now that I have seen the place that was subject of many my childhood stories.
